FlexBand

Welcome to FlexBand Online
FlexBand Online offers the complete line of FlexBand exercise equipment. FlexBands are the original continuous loop bands used by pro sports teams, as well as powerlifters. FlexBands are great for stretching, as well as upper and lower body strengthening. FlexBands are used at most major colleges and universities.

FlexBands are used in a variety of settings for strength training and rehabilitation. The bands provide variable isotonic exercise, meaning that the pressure changes throughout the range of motion. The resistance increases as the users joint angles improve, making this a safe and effective alternative training method.

FlexBands come in six sizes with resistances varying from 5 pounds to 200 pounds per band so they can be used by anyone! Save money by purchasing one of our FlexBand packages.

You can order your FlexBand online. For questions, or bulk orders please email flexbandorders@yahoo.com

Don't Ice That Ankle Sprain: The FlexBand® Ankle Strengthening Traction (F.A.S.T.) technique designed to reduce pain and swelling, and to speed recovery time. You will never deal with a sprained ankle the same way again. Includes instructional CDs. A large percentage of "minor" (Grade I and Grade II) ankle sprains are treated in a manner that incapacitates the person for several weeks. When an ankle is sprained, some ligaments have been over-stretched and are possibly misaligned. When you ice an ankle at this stage, blood flow is stopped and ligaments are essentially frozen out of place. Combine that with rest and now you’ve got muscle atrophy and a host of other problems. Ice should never be applied to an injured ankle, because it stops the healing process. What an injured ankle needs is movement, as soon as possible after the injury, in order to restore proper range of motion and realign the ligaments.

Proven Effective
Titled as a multipurpose workout "machine" and native to the Jump Stretch Fitness Center (the world's first all rubberband gym), the FlexBand focuses on "progressive resistance training". FlexBands have been proven effective for flexibility workouts, injury rehabilitation, and weight training over the past two decades.

The Inventor
Invented by Dick Hartzell (also known as the "Rubberband Man") in 1980, the FlexBands are a series of large seamless rubber bands fused together in layers on mandrels to promise effectiveness as well as durability.

How It Works
The FlexBand works by wrapping the FlexBand around the body or body's extremities to produce natural and healthy ranges of motion and variable-resisted-active-isolated-stretching. We have found that the majority of people neglect the stretching portion of their exercise programs. If they do stretch, it takes too much time and tends to be very boring to perform static stretches. The FlexBand can be used to vary the resistance and actively isolate each specific muscle. This in turn cuts your stretching time in half with better results and a fun approach.

Varied Uses
Another way that the FlexBand can be used is for strength and cardiovascular gains for weight lifters and aerobic practitioners. Strength gains can be achieved by attaching the Flexband to free weights or manipulating them around the body for resistance. When incorporating them into a weight lifting and an aerobic workout scenario, the bands provide variable isotonic exercise, meaning that the pressure changes throughout the range of motion. The resistance increases as the exerciser's angle improves, making this a safe and effective training method.
